We use the non-waxed Kitenge which is 100% cotton. The fabric is pre-washed before the garment is made. A black cotton jersey is used as the inner lining for this garment. The collar, cuffs, and waistband of the jacket are in black cotton rib.
The jackets have a full black zipper and two pockets as is the design of a bomber jacket, however, the bright bold African Kitenge material used on the outside makes this jacket a statement item.
The result is a soft, warm comfortable jacket made of natural material which makes it extremely easy to wear. Any person wearing this jacket will noticeably stand out. Most often it's casually just thrown on as an accent on a pair of jeans, a dress, or a skirt. It can be worn with just about anything.
